I love to travel (there’s nothing I love more than taking a flight!) and I’ve been lucky enough to visit a whole load of cool places. It’s my aim to go to a football match or gig in every country I go to! I love shopping for records (Piccadilly Records is the best) and I’ve got a pretty large vinyl collection - Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom and Blur are my favourites. I secretly love watching wrestling, Star Trek and basketball while eating chips and curry sauce. At the weekend, I’ll either be listening to music, buying even more plants or watching football. Yes, I support Manchester City - I promise I don’t mind (much) if you’re a Manchester United fan. Before becoming a wedding photographer and filmmaker, I studied Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. I’ve also worked photographing football, fashion and concerts for various print magazines. I studied for a Masters in Photography in 2013 which was the most amazing experience - getting to work on research, create images all day long and read about my favourite photographers (Martin Parr, Stephen Shore, Ezra Stoller and Cecil Beaton if you're interested) was incredible!
Why choose me?
I’m relaxed, unobtrusive and love to be like a guest with a camera. I’m not going to force you to have heaps of group shots and make you do embarrassing poses - I’m there to capture your genuine love, genuine reactions and I’ll get super invested in your story while I’m doing it. I’m definitely not traditional - I love to photograph the day as it happens and love all the unusual little bits of your day that make it personal to you. As well as shooting digital, I also regularly work with a whole load of film cameras that shoot with 120, 35mm, Polaroid and Instax film.
I've had my wedding work featured in various wedding blogs and publications and love being creative to capture things a little differently. I adore spending one of the most exciting days of your life with you and I'm so thrilled to have been part of so many lovely weddings so far and can't wait for loads more!
