Best of 2016

I can't quite believe it's going to be 2017 very soon. It seemed like yesterday that I was planning out all my 2016 weddings and meeting my excited couples. I've had such a great year, crammed full of new experiences; 2016 is the year I got to travel abroad with my photography work and the year I got my wedding work published. 2016 is also the first year I worked with second shooters - on one wedding my fiance Matt accompanied me and (annoyingly) took some of my favourite ever photographs. I've regularly been shooting alongside Jenn Brookes who is the best second shooter any photographer could ask for; her amazing eye and ability to get *that* shot is something I've been incredibly grateful for. Also, being a wedding photographer can get pretty lonely so it's been great to have her alongside me.

I'm incredibly excited about 2017 - not only do I get to meet all my new couples and experience their wedding days, but I get married in May! It's been odd to be on the other side of things for once, but I'm really enjoying it. Alongside getting married, a whole rebrand and name change is coming. I've been so lucky that Joyce of Artsy Nibs has helped me with that. I'm very excited to reveal the logo she worked on for me in the new year.

As it's the end of the year, I thought it only right that I share some of my favourite shots from the past twelve months. Grab a coffee, sit back and enjoy. I'll see you all in 2017.
