When Hannah and Edward got in touch with me, they described their wedding like this: "The wedding is looking fairly eclectic and we're doing away with a number of the 'traditional' elements for what should be a fun and fairly laid back kind of day." As soon as I read that, I was sold! So on a sunny Friday afternoon, I headed down to Cheltenham ready for their gorgeous ceremony at Pittville Pump Room and reception at The Painswick Centre in the Cotswolds. Interesting fact about Painswick - I was watching bad hotel TV on the night before the wedding and a show about Painswick came on. It told the story of the church, and how folklore tells that the churchyard can never have more than 99 yew trees, and should a 100th grow the devil would stop it!
This wedding is one of my favourites - lots of DIY elements, colour, dinosaurs and a skittle alley.
