A wedding planned at a family home creates such a relaxed atmosphere.

Lucy and George's wedding was no exception - so many family and friends worked incredibly hard to make this wedding the beautiful day Lucy and George envisaged. Starting of at a Hertfordshire church (beautifully decorated!), the couple then returned to a family home for drinks, speeches and plenty of dancing. One of my favourite parts of the day was the send off from the church - all the guests stood outside to wave them off and George lit a red flare from the car!

I love weddings that take place at a family home - it's so relaxed and incredibly meaningful for the couple. Most of the wedding took place outside, including the speeches, drinks and cake cutting. Luckily the weather was beautiful and the English country garden made for the perfect backdrop for photographs. Another wedding that makes me feel so lucky to be a wedding photographer and part of these beautiful, meaningful moments in my couples' lives.
