I love photographing weddings in London. There are so many amazing venues to choose from and there's nothing like the buzz of London! Kirsty and Richard chose the gorgeous Stoke Newington Town Hall for their ceremony followed by an intimate pub reception with their closest friends and family at The Drapers Arms. Pub weddings are always great - pubs give your wedding reception such a relaxed and chilled vibe.

Stoke Newington Town Hall has such a grand ceremony space. I absolutely love the wood panelling and as soon as I saw the orange curtains at the back of the room I knew I had to get some portraits there! After a touching, personal ceremony everyone headed to The Drapers Arms for some drinks and food. I loved the way the long tables were decorated with crisp white tablecloths and wildflowers. Kirsty and Richard had also given each guest a little succulent as a wedding gift - I even got one too!

Intimate weddings and elopements are some of my favourites - it's so lovely to be part of such an intimate wedding day and to be able to get to know everyone. This wedding was wonderful to shoot especially because Kirsty and Richard asked for lots of analogue film like Polaroids, 120 and 35mm. Perfect!
